Cataracts
A cataract is the clouding of your eye's natural lens. Clouding usually happens slowly, so you might not notice it at first. But as time passes, your vision may grow fuzzy. Colors may not appear as vivid, small print may become difficult to see, and driving at night may become difficult due to glare.
If these symptoms sound familiar, you have come to the right place. At Minnesota Eye Institute, patients can schedule an appointment to see Dr. Carlson and have a cataract evaluation. During the evaluation Dr. Carlson will identify if you are a candidate for cataract surgery.
During surgery an intraocular lens will replace the cloudy lens in your eye. This procedure is performed by Dr. Carlson in our surgical suite and with the assistance of our team. You will be welcomed by the same faces each time you arrive for your evaluation the day of surgery, and your post surgery care.
