I recently had cataract surgery at MN Eye Institute, and my experience from start to finish was amazing!From the very beginning, I met with Dr. Nelson, who was very thorough and direct regarding the procedure. She made sure I fully understood what would take place during the surgery and answered all of my questions clearly and professionally.Next, I worked with Star on the scheduling and financial side of things — she’s awesome! She made the entire process smooth and stress-free.My pre-op nurse, Lori, was also fantastic. She was very personable and open to answering any questions or concerns I had regarding the procedure. She really helped put me at ease before surgery.Dr. Nelson performed my procedure, and everything went great! At my follow-up visit the next day, she was once again very thorough and patient with my questions, assuring me that everything looked great.Although I only had one eye done, my experience with MN Eye Institute exceeded my expectations. I had Cataract surgery with Dr. Nelson. Andra was the main nurse for the surgery although I have met many of the other members on the staff during exams, checkups, accounting questions etc. They have ALL been nothing short of exceptional! They literally are probably the most kind and the most caring people that I have ever dealt with at any business....ever. The human body is complex and the gift of sight is a treasure, everyone might heal just a little different but the level of care and attention given to me as a person is heartfelt and much appreciated.
