Fantastic experience! Minnesota Eye Institute is the only place offering LASIK in the Alexandria, which is much more convenient then traveling to St. Cloud or the Twin Cities. The entire process was very efficient after I initially reached out and indicated I was interested in getting LASIK. I had an initial meeting with Dr. Nelson before scheduling anything to ensure I was a good candidate for LASIK, and once that was established I was able to schedule my surgery soon after. I was seen by Dr. Nelson before the surgery and immediately after, as well as the next morning to make sure everything was healing correctly. I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process and I could not be happier with the results, simply life changing! I recently had Dr Kent Carlson place in a premium cataract lens in my right eye to address my reduced vision and astigmatisim. It's like seeing the world in HD again - the clarity and colors are amazing. It's time to schedule to have my other eye corrected! Dr Carlson had performed lasik surgery on both of my eyes over 25 years ago and they've been perfect unitl my cataract developed.
